Christian Jorg

CEO

Christian has long been a leader in the media business and a pioneer in digital media. He founded the New Technologies group for Bertelsmann AG/BMG Entertainment in the ’90s. Since then he has been a senior executive at Imax Corporation and started his own independent record label as CEO and co-Founder of E-Magine Entertainment. In 2005 he joined Acotel Interactive as EVP, Entertainment as part of the start-up team and helped develop it into one of the world’s leading direct to consumer mobile entertainment companies with over $100 million in revenue. He’s also held senior positions at Gerson, Lehrman Group and Universal Music and was named one of the Top Ten Mobile Executives for 2008 by Billboard Magazine. Besides his role at Opentopic he is on a number of Advisory Boards and Boards of Directors. Christian holds an MBA in Marketing from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is based in New York.

Sophie Reinauld

After seven years as a journalist, Sophie founded and served as president of L’Agence, a group of communications companies that created newspapers, magazines,websites, and did contract publishing for such international blue-chip companies as Total, BNPParibas and Vivendi. At the time of its sale in 2008, L’Agence employed more than 150 people and had more than 22 million euros in billings. Reinauld has been a board member of Aegis Media Europe, one of the world leading media agencies, for more than five years. She still serves on the boards of several companies and non-profit organizations.

Quentin Delory

Strategy & Business Development

Before opentopic, Quentin was Director Strategy & Business Development at Gerson Lehrman Group where he helped assess strategic opportunities and launch a new venture: an online Q&A based community (hightable.com). Previously, he was part of the management team for LimeWire, the world most popular P2P software, where he was in charge of the international business unit. He held several roles in strategy, finance and marketing in a few global organizations. His background also includes a 6 year management consulting experience with Accenture. Quentin has an MBA from IESE Business School and a MSC in in Computer Science from Ecole Centrale.

Adjunct-teacher at CUNY J-School in the Entrepreneurial Journalism program led by Jeff Jarvis. Co-creator of Quelcandidat.com, the first participative media with news both from journalists and “citizen journalists” in France. Founder, at 25 years old, of Formules Presse that he ran successfully for 9 years. Co-founder of the first daily newspapers for kids in the world, published by Play Bac Presse: Mon Quotidien, Le Petit Quotidien & l’Actu. Co-creator of 5W Graphics (NYC, Madrid) and (Warsaw).

Sandy Grushow

Grushow is a board member, investor, and active senior advisor to a portfolio of early-stage ventures in the digital content and distribution space. He also serves as the Chief Content Officer of Medialink. Prior to this, Grushow spent nearly 25 years at FOX as an instrumental leader in the establishment of the brand identity of the network. In 1999, he became the chairman of the FOX Television Entertainment Group. Before assuming the chairman role, Grushow was the President of the entire network division and oversaw the development and launch of many hit shows including “The X-Files” and “Melrose Place”. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of the FOX entertainment division after having spent years building the network’s advertising and promotions department from the ground up with the launch “The Simpsons”, “In Living Color” and “90210”. Grushow advises Opentopic on marketing, media, entertainment and technology industries.

Henry Huang

Henry Huang heads up Product Development at Axial, overseeing product strategy, UX, design, and product management. He is responsible for driving the Axial's vision to transform the way in which entrepreneurs connect with capital. Before joining Axial, Henry held leadership positions in product and strategy at Gerson Lehrman Group (expert networks), Viggle (a loyalty platform for TV viewers), and Return Path (email deliverability solutions). Henry received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

Tomasz Roszko

Tomasz leads Opentopic's engineering team. He got his start as a web developer in 2007 working for "Netstation" and writing internet applications for one of the largest publishing companies in Poland. During this time he worked extensively with Django, Pylons, and the RED DOT CMS. In 2009 he started his own company creating a team of passionate Python/Django developers. He is currently the leader of this development team based in Bialystok Poland and focusing on Opentopic. Previously he has worked with a number of industry leaders such as RevSquare, NowWeComply, BlueIce, FlowLabs and MediaPolis.

In his (very rare) spare time Tomasz teaches at Bialystok University in the area of web application development using Python/Django. He is married and proud father of three (soon to be four) children.

David Evans

David Evans has more than 20 years as an accomplished content and marketing executive, first as an award-winning business journalist/editor for titles such as Canadian Business and Adweek Publications, later as the creator of leading conference, trade show and other in-person programs for Business Week, the Industry Standard, Fast Company, Inc., as well as Thomson Media and Jupiter. He has long been fascinated by the opportunities at the intersection of technology and content delivery, community development and customer experience. He is currently SVP, Content & Experience for the Direct Marketing Association.
